Anne and Laurence are experienced offshore and inshore sailors who voyaged from Southampton, England in 1985 on their first venture across the Atlantic Ocean. Over the last 26 years they have logged thousands of cruising hours charting, recording and photographing their travels, exclusively along the beautifully rugged coastline and islands of the Pacific Northwest.

To date Anne and Laurence have produced a series of six colourful, information-packed Dreamspeaker Cruising Guides to Pacific Northwest destinations, a travelogue Voyage of the Dreamspeaker and a sailing DVD Coastal Magic. “We see ourselves as passionate ambassadors of the area’s unspoiled cruising waters, its coastal communities and local enterprises,” Anne says. “Through our writing, charting and photography our mission is to offer local knowledge and information that will promote safe and enjoyable boating, and profile the uniqueness of coastal life.”

The Dreamspeaker Team are regular contributors to local and international boating magazines, and renowned for their lively and informative presentations. They live in Vancouver’s West End and keep their 36-foot sailboat, Dreamspeaker, and faithful dinghy, Tink, close by.
